Double common envelope jets supernovae (CEJSNe) by triple-star systems

چکیده
I propose a new type of common envelope jets supernova (CEJSN) events where instead single neutron star (NS; or black hole; BH) tight binary system NS and main sequence enters evolution (CEE) with red supergiant. The the merge inside supergiant enter CEE their own. accretes some mass through an accretion disk launches that explodes star. estimate two at this phase carry energy ~10^{52} erg, about same order magnitude as will when its BH remnant core in later phase. For that, term entire event double CEJSN. outcome CEJSN is very long, months to years, energetic event, total - 10^{53} be observationally classified peculiar super-energetic event. crudely transient surveys should detect one from triple per year.

Supernovae , Jets , and Collapsars
We consider the explosion of supernovae and the possible production of a variety of high energy transients by delayed black hole formation in massive stars endowed with rotation. Following the launch of a " successful " shock by the usual neutrino powered mechanism, the inner layers of the star move outwards, but lack adequate energy to eject all the matter exterior to the neutron star. Over a ...
متن کاملSecular Evolution of Hierarchical Triple Star Systems
We derive octupole-level secular perturbation equations for hierarchical triple systems, using classical Hamiltonian perturbation techniques. Our equations describe the secular evolution of the orbital eccentricities and inclinations over timescales long compared to the orbital periods. By extending previous work done to leading (quadrupole) order to octupole level (i.e., including terms of ord...
متن کاملRelativistic jets in Core Collapse Supernovae
After several decades of extensive research the mechanism driving core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe) is still unclear. A common mechanism is a neutrino driven outflow, but others have been proposed. Among those, a long-standing idea is that jets play an important role in SN explosions. Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) that accompany rare and powerful CCSNe, sometimes called “hypernovae”, provide a clear e...
متن کاملAsymmetric Supernovae from Magneto-Centrifugal Jets
Strong toroidal magnetic fields generated in stellar collapse can generate magnetocentrifugal jets in analogy to those found in simulations of black hole accretion. Magneto-centrifugal jets may explain why all core collapse supernovae are found to be substantially asymmetric and predominantly bi-polar. We describe two phases: the initial LeBlanc-Wilson jet and a subsequent protopulsar or toroid...
متن کاملDouble Neutron Star Systems and Natal Neutron Star Kicks
We study the four double neutron star systems found in the Galactic disk in terms of the orbital characteristics of their immediate progenitors and the natal kicks imparted to neutron stars. Analysis of the effect of the second supernova explosion on the orbital dynamics, combined with recent results from simulations of rapid accretion onto neutron stars lead us to conclude that the observed sy...
